Senior Manager Marketing and Market Analysis (m/f/d)

Your mission

  • Organize events such as on-line and off-line conferences, customer seminars, receptions and exhibitions, etc.
  • Plan and carry out brand promotion and marketing activities to enhance the brand of reputation of the JA Solar in European markets;
  • Work out yearly marketing budget;
  • Lead event planning meetings with marketing agencies, vendors and colleagues.
  • Keep the internal marketing event team informed through event planning processes;
  • Ensures timelines, costs and resources are properly tracked for the entirety of all marketing events;
  • Manage contracts and invoice payments with and to marketing event suppliers and other vendors, establish and maintain friendly and professional working relationships;
  • Work with external partners to create technical documents such as product datasheets, manuals etc. in different language versions upon demand and distribute these;
  • Marketing samples and gifts preparation and make sure smooth deliveries of these;
  • Work with customers on project references and case studies incl. the ones needed for BNEF
  • Work with HQ marketing, sales teams, external agencies in creation of high quality European focused marketing materials
  • Lead the Market Analysis Manager whose main responsibilities are to collect the countries’ macro-economic, political, solar PV industry, and micro-business information in Europe, make SWOT analyses and provide to Sales through a;
  • Investigate the needs and potential needs of the market and customers on marketing activities and support. Create reports to improve the marketing strategy;
  • Actively collect energy, photovoltaic price and policy information in Europe. Work with market players to accurately predict PV module demand at the national level, and quickly output market report to support management decision;
  • Work closely with the sales team to track, collect and analyze the strategies of major competitors in the European market, and report on responding market strategies;
  • Output customer-oriented industry insight report, guide customers to accept our brand and sales intention;
  • Accumulate regional insight resources and information, finally form a national insight manual as countries, partners, and customers level, and training sales, marketing, and product teams to get basic market insight ability.

Your profile

  • Experience in planning, conducting and assessing the success of marketing events, at least 2 years of work experience in the PV solar industry
  • Ability to lead market analysts
  • Strong teamwork awareness, exceptional communication and presentation skills, very strong ability to create presentations, a market and customer focused mindset, and a professional “can-do” attitude
  • A Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Fluent in English both orally and written plus at least one more European language, better two
