Your mission

Drive, shape and continuously improve the financial, accounting and controlling activities of our Dutch legal entity.
Take full ownership of statutory accounting and reporting, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
Responsible for all areas of financial bookkeeping, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) and Fixed Assets (FA), ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance.
Establish and maintain robust financial controlling processes, including budget planning, forecasting, variance analysis and cost controlling.
Prepare timely and high-quality management reporting for local management and group headquarters, ensuring transparency of financial performance.
Handle tax-related topics such as tax filings, VAT compliance, Intrastat reporting and cross-border VAT matters.
Act as the main point of contact for external partners, including auditors, banks, tax advisors and tax authorities.
Perform ad-hoc financial analyses, provide decision support and prepare presentations for management to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Support the further development of financial processes, internal controls and reporting standards in line with group requirements.

Your profile

At least 5 years of solid experience in finance, accounting and controlling within an international B2B environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Dutch accounting standards and relevant tax regulations, including VAT and Intrastat.
Hands-on and proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership, solve complex problems and drive topics independently.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different countries and cultures.
High affinity for IT and digital finance tools, with advanced MS Excel skills and experience with SAP or another ERP system.
Native Chinese speaker with full professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Dutch.
