Position Summary 
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic customers, including EPCs, developers, and IPPs, to drive long-term business growth. This role combines commercial expertise, deep market knowledge, and cross-functional coordination to ensure customer satisfaction, maximize account revenue, and strengthen JA Solar’s position as a trusted partner. 
 
Reporting Line 
Reports to the Country Sales Manager France. 
 
Major Responsibilities 
  • Account Ownership: Maintain full ownership of assigned strategic accounts, including relationship management, long-term account planning, and revenue growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key customers, building trust with senior stakeholders and ensuring alignment with customer objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless solutions, manage contract execution, and resolve complex issues.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement account strategies to grow share of wallet, increase customer satisfaction, and secure repeat business.
  • Market & Competitive Insights: Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activities, and provide actionable insights to support sales and marketing strategies.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, track account performance, and report progress to management.
  • Event & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead customer events, site visits, and executive meetings to strengthen strategic partnerships.
  • Innovation & Solutions: Identifyand propose innovative solutions to meet customer needs and drive long-term collaboration.
Performance Indicators 
  • Revenue and margin growth within assigned key accounts
  • Retention and satisfaction of strategic customers
  • Accuracy of account forecasts and pipeline management
  • Success of cross-functional project delivery

Your profile
Required Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
  • Previous experience working for Chinese PV manufacturer is an advantage
  • 3–7 years’ experience in utility-scale PV/ESS sales or account management
  • Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and closing complex projects
  • Deep knowledge of PV policies, market standards, and customer expectations in Central Europe
  • English & French: C1 - C2 (professional working proficiency - near native proficiency)
